I have been a nurse educator for over 30 years . I love the profession and continue to appreciate each experience. I enjoy the realization that I see in young aspiring nurses and feel renewed when I she the "Ah hah" minute. I am grateful to each person that I meet and interact with because those meetings and interactions add to my wealth of understanding. I continue to believe that the baccalaureate degree in nursing as the entry level for professional practice. Thank you for your interest in nursing and I look forward to all of your contributions to the profession.

My practice trajectory has included every aspect of nursing practice including ICU, CCU and ED. I have served in supervisory positions that included assistant director of nursing, unit manager, and co-ordinator for women services. My clinical expertise has focused on maternity nursing and for the past decade has addressed screening women during all aspects of reproductive care for violence.
